Geographic Information Systems Certificate
(approved by the Veterans Administration)

Completion Requirements
To earn the Certificate, participants must successfully complete 24 units (grade C or better): four required courses (12 units) and a minimum of 12 elective units. The Certificate must be completed within five years from completion of the first course. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows is required.

The typical time to complete this certificate is 12 months.

Prerequisite
Successful completion of one of the following:

Transfer Credit
A maximum of 6 transfer units of comparable coursework from other institutions may be transferred into this program. Official transcripts are required.
