Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate
Nearly every position in a business setting today requires proficiency
in the Windows environment and the use of Microsoft
Office computer applications. This
program is designed to develop key computer skills
using all Office products, and bring the user to "expert"
level in Word and Excel, the two most heavily used
applications. Participants
explore beginning and advanced concepts, as well as
tools and tips designed to transform the ordinary Office
user to a "super-user." Coursework
also helps prepare participants for the Microsoft Office
User Specialist (MOUS) certification exams.
Objectives
This program provides participants with a broad exposure to the entire Microsoft
Office Suite. Participants obtain in-depth skills to navigate, create, edit
and manage documents and files. Through hands-on training and skills development
participants become expert users in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
