GIS Summer School
International Students
The GIS Summer School is an intensive
GIS certificate program offered only during the summer. International
students do not receive ESRI software due to international licensing
restrictions on ESRI software. International student fees reflect omission
of the software. You should complete the application for the GIS Summer
School and also send an IEP Application for Enrollment form together
with the nonrefundable International Services Fee.
Students enrolled in our programs are normally admitted to the US in
F-1 student status. International applicants will need an I-20 form to
apply for a student visa in their country. In order to receive an I-20
form, applicants must send an Application for Enrollment form, the nonrefundable
International Services Fee and a letter from his/her bank (or sponsor's
bank) verifying the availability of sufficient funds to cover his/her
expenses while in the US. Applicants already in the US must still submit
an Application for Enrollment form.
You will find these application forms by visiting our Web site at http://www.iep.ucr.edu/applications.html.
Information about housing and accommodations may be found at: http://www.iep.ucr.edu/housing.html.
