If you only have a short time for study and want to combine classes to improve your general conversational English skills with sightseeing and cultural activities, the Conversation and American Culture Program (CAC) is perfect for you. If you are a student on holiday, a teacher on vacation who wants to enhance your language skills, a business professional wanting to speak better English or a retiree who wants to experience American culture, the CAC program gives you valuable practice in English and an opportunity to experience California. 
Designed for students from beginner to advanced, the CAC program is offered in three-week sessions, every month of the year, and focuses on improving conversation skills, increasing vocabulary, enhancing fluency and making friends from around the world. The program combines challenging classroom instruction with exciting social and cultural activities. You will observe, participate in and discuss American culture using a curriculum based on cross-cultural communication including:
• American Idioms
• American Culture
• Functions of American English
• Listening and Speaking

Program Highlights
• 3-week sessions
• 16 hours of conversation and oral skills development each week
• 4 hours of Computer-assisted Language Laboratory each week
• Offered 12 times per year – Every month!
• Beginner to advanced levels
• Small classes (average 15 students per class)
