Academic-Year Certificate Programs

Business Administration

The Certificate in Business Administration provides students with a concentrated study of the critical functions of management and administration. This program provides students with the breadth and depth of study that enable them to better understand core business principles and processes and be able to apply them to case studies and real-life situations and conditions. Students may use this program to prepare to operate small- to mid-sized organizations, serve in a managerial role within small- to large-sized firms or pursue further studies in business including an MBA.

When is it offered? September to June
Required proficiency: minimum TOEFL® score of 523 (paper)/193 (computer), TOEIC® score of 700 or above, TSE® score of 45 or above and be at the 600 level of UC Riverside Extension’s Intensive English Program or equivalent.
Minimum Age:  15
Tuition
The tuition for the entire 36-week (about nine months) program is (please see Dates & Fees page) .
Application Deadline
Application deadline is one month before the starting date of the program.
Optional Practical Training
Upon completion of an Academic-year Certificate Program, you may be eligible for up to a year of Optional Practical Training (OPT) at an American company.
