Academic-Year Certificate Programs

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Project Management Certificate reflects the latest theories and practices in the profession and is closely aligned with international standards set by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The program is designed for students and professionals who may benefit from a concentrated study in project management. Typical careers for project managers include business analysts, operations managers, supervisors, information technology professionals and high-level managers serving a variety industries and business services. The program provides concentrated study in the various individual components of project management from project inception to implementation to analysis.

Fall Quarter (September-December)

Winter Quarter (January-April)

• Cost, Performance and Customer Service Management for the Supply Chain

Spring Quarter (April-June)

• Project Scheduling and Risk Management
• Project Procurement Management

When is it offered? September to June
Required proficiency: minimum TOEFL® score of 523 (paper)/193 (computer), TOEIC® score of 700 or above, TSE® score of 45 or above and be at the 600 level of UC Riverside Extension’s Intensive English Program or equivalent.
Minimum Age:  15
Tuition
The tuition for the entire 36-week (about nine months) program is (please see Dates & Fees page) .
Application Deadline
Application deadline is one month before the starting date of the program.
Optional Practical Training
Upon completion of an Academic-year Certificate Program, you may be eligible for up to a year of Optional Practical Training (OPT) at an American company.
