Intensive 30-week program designed for students or professionals with beginning to advanced levels of English proficiency. The program consists of any three consecutive 10-week sessions. Students will take part in the Intensive English Program and attend 24+ hours of English classes per week. Placement in six levels, beginning to advanced. Small classes (average 14 students per class) with students from more than 35 countries. All participants must take a placement test on Registration Day in order to assess their English proficiency. Student's progress will depend on their language ability on entry, but it is expected that students will improve their knowledge by at least three levels in the six-level scale (100-600). Students who reach the advanced levels (500/600) may take one Extension class or campus class per session at no additional cost. The Academic Year Program offers an exceptional value as it provides a savings of $900 over an equivalent total cost for three sessions of the Intensive English Program. Refund

“Studying
English at the University of California, Riverside,
has been one of the most valuable experiences
in my life. The Academic Year Program has offered
me not only the opportunity to learn English
in an international environment but also the chance to study with native speakers in UC Riverside campus and Extension classes.” — Richard Parra Venezuela |

"IEP
offers me a great opportunity not only to brush
up on my English, but also to acquire business
skills through various certificate programs under
the wonderful weather of Southern California.
I would say that it is a school for an inquisitive
person! Thanks a lot. Rie Iida Japan |
