If you are an advanced-level student who is looking for the opportunity to enroll in University of California credit courses and study with American students, the University of California, Riverside, University Credit Program (UCP) gives you the opportunity to experience undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses without having to formally apply to the University of California, Riverside.
The UCP program is designed for those who have an advanced understanding of English and are strong academic students.
Students who do not provide an approved English assessment test score are tested upon arrival and may be advised to attend the Intensive English Program (pages 8 and 9) instead.

Program Highlights
• 10-week sessions
• 12-30 hours each week
• Offered each winter, spring, summer and fall
• Students can take a maximum of three campus or Extension classes each session (campus classes are not available through UCP in the summer)
• In addition, students can take a part- or full-time English language program at no additional cost
• Courses are individually selected depending on the academic interest of the student (subject to availability and space (additional fees may be required.)
• Students receive official University of California, Riverside, or Extension credit that may be transferred to a university in the U.S. or another country
• Minimum age: 17
• Advanced-level English required (minimum TOEFL 500 PBT, 61 iBT; IELTS 5.0; TOEIC 600 or IEP levels 500 or 600)
