Host Family

IEP Program open the windows of the world into your home! Become a Host Family!

Each year, UC Riverside Extension’s International Education Programs enrolls students from around the world.

This quarter we have students from Afghanistan, Argentina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, France, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

Our students range in age from 10 years to 60 years and stay from one week to one year.

IEP is always looking for local families who would like to participate in our Homestay Program. Living with American families enriches the students’ experiences and makes their time in Riverside truly memorable.

Host families are compensated for providing housing, meals and transportation to and from UC Riverside.
