”What Are our Alumni doing? - Selale Kadak”

Former UCR-IEP student few years later.

Selale Kadak was a student in IEP in 1993 and then returned again in 1996
for another nine months. She is pictured here with her husband Haldun and
her baby son, Omer. Selale and her beautiful family live in Istanbul,
Turkey where she is a columnist for the economics section of SABAH, the
second biggest daily newspaper in Turkey. She is responsible for interviews
with CEOs and chairmen of major companies all over the world. She remembers
her time at UCR, "I had the most beautiful and also fun time in Riverside.
My friends and I were having so much fun discovering California while having
a great education in UCR. It gave me the chance to take economics, dancing,
computer and broadcasting classes at the same time I was making my English
fluent. Now I miss my friends from those days: Cecilia, Tulga, Mafe, Amy,
Ronaldo, Monica & Guilherme, Tansu and others. Thanks to our teachers and
especially my dear friends Charlene and Sheila."
