Law & Public Policy

UCR Extension is pleased to offer legal, law-related and public policy courses, conferences and workshops. We offer a Paralegal certificate program which is approved by the American Bar Association. Legal programs assist attorneys in meeting their MCLE requirements. Other law-related programs are offered for legal assistants, legal secretaries and individuals that may gain specialized knowledge to assist them in career development and advancement.

Public policy programs are also offered. These programs offer a forum to bring together attorneys, civic and other community groups, public officials, planners, private sector representatives and researchers to examine public policy issues. These programs focus on complex and controversial issues or problems by sharing information, analyses and perspectives used in shaping public policy.

In addition to courses offered at the UCR Extension Center, we can develop customized programs and take them to any business or organization.
