Self-paced with set start-up and completion dates.
Complete assignments at your convenience and in many cases participate in live chat sessions with instructors and other students. Most online classes are these types.

Live Webcasts and Archives
Interactive and concurrent with classroom course, this instruction gives you the opportunity to observe and discuss ideas with other online students, classroom students and instructors. Archival feature allows you to view a class up to a week after presentation.
