Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the academic and internship portions of the program, participants may begin practicing as a sexual assault examiner (SAE, SAFE, SANC, FNE, SANE).

Non-medical professionals who successfully complete the academic portion only will receive a certificate specifying completion of the course only.

Certification as a SANE-A is optional. This certification is administered by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (www.iafn.org).
